 Snowy owl taken at VTG.
He is at the nature center for birds rescued b/c he became humanized versus injured..

Gosh he is beautiful. The white in this feathered fellow's coat seems as if he's been bleached in Javex! Super take!

I love these guys. I tried very hard a few years ago when there was an eruption (a time when the Snowy Owls come down in large numbers, every six or seven years) to stalk one out on the river flats to get a close shot. Got a few but the light was never great. Can't wait for the next time!

In the meantime I might have to break down and visit a rescue center that has one. Nice shot.
