Sydney is my 5 year-old daughter. Here she is sleeping hugging her Hello Kitty. I used one of my shop lights quite a bit away from the subject. This made the light much more subtle.

What can be more charming than a peacefully sleeping child? She is gorgeous and the photo is beautifully composed.

Really sweet. She is lovely. I think this might be cool in BW too, since there is so much busy patterns going on here. Nothing is more touching than a sleeping child. It has the AWWW factor for sure. :~)

a beautiful and quiet portrait of the innocence of the young

the choice of crop and composition is really nicely balanced and the lighting is soft - but there is a slightly strange greenish hue that doesn't work for me - a bit warmer and friendlier hue might be in order

Composition: I really like the angle on this.

Lighting/Exposure: You achieved a beautiful soft light by moving that lamp way back :) I also really like the cool lighting, makes it seem like night-time light.

Pose: N/A

Suggestions for Improvements: Actually, none. I rather enjoy the blue/green cast you have going here. I'd like to see this one in B&W as well :) It's very moody.

This daughter is as beautiful as the last! You certainly are lucky to have such cuties :)

What a great portrait! The crop and composition are marvelous. I agree that setting your white balance correctly to remove the green/blue cast (possibly it was a flourescent?) would have greatly improved this shot.

Very cute photo. I like the lighting style, the temperature though seems a bit harsh.

eta: by "harsh" I mean bluish/greenish. Maybe warm it up a bit?

oh how precise. i quite like the lighting here, because it gives it a sense of the moon light spilling in through her window and lighting her. very nicely done.
