 I'm in the Lensbaby Challenge. This was taken with a Lensbaby, but because of the darkness, the fuzzy area doesn't show. Pretty much as it came from the camera but flipped to get the writing going the right way.

For those of you who aren't from California, The Bear Flag is another name for the California state flag

Nice night shot. Thanks for the explanation of the flag. Wished there was a larger area of focus here, but that can be a lensbaby issue.

I'm a little puzzled at the lamp appearing to be behind the flag, but with typical sizes it should be much smaller than it is. Maybe it's in front of the flag but since it's suspended there is no post. There seems to be too much negative black space here. The focus seems a little soft, maybe because of the Lensbaby or the f2. Otherwise, a nice shot. I'm very familiar with that flag.

Took me a minute to figure out why you'd flip it until I decided you'd shot through the flag, essentially... Still retains some trace of Lensbaby despite the dark.

Very interesting image. I forgot that the CA state flag has California Republic on it! I like the heavy shadows surrounding the light and flag. It really help the image pop. Suggest cropping a bit on the right side.

Its a UFO! (Sorry, prolly wont get that heh) I almost wish the lensbaby distorted the light a tad more but still a neat shot.

I like how the lamp and flag are isolated in the surrounding darkness. Makes for kind of a cool, mysterious image.
