It’s a few hours before rollover and I’m real pleased with both the score and the comments, I’m now hoping for a top 5 finish.
I just wanted to show the same scene from a couple of hours earlier. I entered this shot in the free study as a last minute idea and was pleasantly surprised at the result.

This is very awesome! The water turns it from what would have been a great photo anyway -- to something truly outstanding.

It's a good reflection shot. No smoke visible on the water. A shorter title would have worked.

for a literal interpretation of the challenge, I must say it is a really nice; decent balance and good interest. What sells it though is that beautiful blue and green skyline reflection. and the attempt at a deep purple tie-in.

Great photo... I think I would maybe have cropped to center the firework. This may have added more impact.

Also, isn't it 'Smoke on the water, fire in the sky' :-)
