I really love this photo. I tried surfing for the first time this summer and this is really making me want to get back out there!
Love the sepia tones and the fog adds so much to your shot.
Great job and congrats on your ribbon!

| just as a surfer, i love the picture. but in all, the picture has a way of giving off a certain mood. i cant put my finger on it. but its captivating for me. the sepia adds a lot to it too. and the pier vanishing into the mist adds mystery to the picture too. kudos JeffryZ. |

| Crystal Pier in PB. I was up in La Jolla in the afternoon and it was nice and sunny- by the time I got back down to PB (about 4pm) the fog was getting pretty thick already. |

| Congratulations on the ribbon! Great shot. You managed to get the fog that I was unable to get when I went to the same location (I think, or is it Crystal Pier, OB Pier or IB Pier?) when it was foggy inland but not so foggy in La Jolla. I love the sharp surfer shapes against the hazy ocean and Scripps Pier. |

| Intersting (to me) personal note- my three highest scoring photos so far were all taken with a different camera. Highest was with a point and shoot (Fuji F31fd converted to shoot in infrared), a DSLR (Nikon D80), and a "prosumer" (Konica Minolta A200 which I no longer have but a friend is enjoying). |
