| What I enjoy about this so much is the purity of color...clean and crisp...like an era of long ago. I definitely agree with Robert about the Kodachrome. That may be what makes me recall another era. My grandfather amassed a massive collection of slides through his life and I still love going through the pictures from 50+ years ago and the color is still so crisp and new. |

| Spot on and haunting. I have always had an affinity for older windmills, probably b/c they seems to exude a certain loneliness and this is no exception. The lens adds a nice motion that complements the windmill. |

Just about perfect. There's often a sense of misplaced optimism that attends windmills (more correctly, windpumps, I suppose), and you've expressed that mood of desperate, lonely perseverance beautifully here.
And to second the motion made by  bear_music in the LB forum, I can't see how this same thing could be done in Photoshop. Nor can I think why anyone should try. |
