 I'm sure this is not going to be photographic enough for the voters but I was playing with something and thought it turned out pretty cool.

I saw a picture ~I think~ I saw on JPGmag.com. A guy used long exposure to move a flower around on a piece of paper. I wanted to try and imitate it for this challenge but it was turning out pretty ugly. So what I have here is a textured paper in the background, and it has sparkles on it - that is why there are white spots. So I used a long exposure, camera on tripod, and had this branch in front of the paper. A desk lamp was shining on this set.

I focused on the branch for 3 secs and then turned the camera to the right for another 3 secs. I think the photo is chaotic looking enough for it to look like there's some transparency. But I'm expecting people will not know what to make of it and will reward me with an overall average score below 5. That's ok tho because I think this is cool.

Crop, HSL desat of blue and increase of green and yellow, resize, sharpen, noiseware.

If you stop to look close enough, you'll see there's a subtle overlay of blur on top of the leaves. That seems fairly transparent to me :D

Love this experiment! I may have to start trying stuff like this because it's just too freakin' cold to shoot outside much at the moment. Thanks for explaining how you did it.

And I thought it was some type of aquarium :) Great experiment, sounds very timely and maybe frustrating. But it is interesting and makes you stop, which is always fun!

Now this is just cool! This is a fun shot to look at. I enjoy the colors, composition, and all the cool little hidden elements. I wish this would have done better, but I'm guessing people didn't take the time to notice it. I like it because you find cool things when you do take the time to look.

I thought this one was really interesting! Actually, I thought it was part of a fish tank, taken through the glass and water with reflections off the back glass of the tank! You fooled me and I really liked it!

Keep experimenting like this because it's really interesting and very creative! :)
