 During the holidays, the city of Wiesbaden (or more accurately, a bunch of sponsors) puts up an ice skating rink. It's very popular. This young man is one of the attendants, I suppose, as he and two of his compatriots were out after the ice machine did its thing, waiting for the surface to refreeze enough to let the hordes back out. I was shooting into the sun's reflection, and this is pretty much what I was hoping to get. Yes, part is blown out in the reflection. :-)

Processing is not too involved - the blue comes from a Virtual Photographer filter plug-in called satin steel.

This shot is pure joy for anyone who remembers "outdoor skating" - The reflections in the ice give this shot a great feel.

Yes. Some people can do this accidentally, and get away with it (of course, most of them would throw it away).
But you did it deliberately. And luckily for us, you didn't throw it away. And it's very good.

Interesting reflections. Nice placement of the legs. Keeps my attention. Not sure I like the blue cast even though it could be to add a wintery feel. How about b&w w/o the blue?
