Well done. What I enjoy most is the textures. Perfectly balanced in my mind. |

This shot is pure joy for anyone who remembers "outdoor skating" - The reflections in the ice give this shot a great feel. |

I'm certain it's this image that has influenced the way I've been shooting over the past week or so. Thanks :) |

OMG OMG!! There's someone trapped under the ice!! ...oh wait, just a reflection. False alarm.
I'm gaining a better appreciation for these types of shots, much thanks to you, Deb. |

I'd LOVE a pic like this with my girls. But I lack big time :) I gave this a 9 during voting, just stunning, Deb. |

Yes. Some people can do this accidentally, and get away with it (of course, most of them would throw it away).
But you did it deliberately. And luckily for us, you didn't throw it away. And it's very good. |

This is an extremely well composed photograph. The lines in the ice and placement of the skater in the frame works perfectly |

Nice job catching the reflections. Scater is a positive compositional element. Would like to see more of the scater. |

Interesting reflections. Nice placement of the legs. Keeps my attention. Not sure I like the blue cast even though it could be to add a wintery feel. How about b&w w/o the blue? |
