From the thumb I thought she was proudly displaying a real baby. This puts a different slant on it altogether, doesn't it? It is a nice portrait. I like the eyes - make me wonder what her thoughts are.

The tonal balance on her is perfect. The expression is priceless. I do think that the doll distracts. I feel strongly that this shot without the doll and cropped tighter could have easily been a top contender.
