wow, i really like this picture. I might have liked it better in color, but that is just my personal opinion. As is, this is a well taken shot and conveys a heck of a message. |

MsAmbrosia - I really like this photo. Its not a photo that is going to stick in my mind for decades, but I'll be reminded of it now and again. Its hard to critique a photo like this as I don't really find anything I would change dramatically. The foreground is a little bit dark. As opposed the obvious fix, lighten up the foreground a little, I'd be more inclined to pan back a little and sort of vignette the photo with the burn tool. That's really very minor and either way, I don't think it effects the great mood of the photo. I think you've done a fine job with it. I think its a 6+ photo that was somewhat under appreciated due to the gloominess of shot. Its a good photo. Good Luck with your future endeavors - Bob |

Beautiful still life. Had the lighting been focused a bit lower towards the sand and branch, it would have been a stronger "sand" submission. |
