 Macro of a crystal ball. Not much editing done.
Esposure adjustments mainly using auto contrast, levels & shadow highlights to recover the detail in the clouds. Sharpened. Applied 1 pass of Neat Image.
Then finally inverted.

You can see the original unedited image below to get a better idea how I actually set this up. The only thing that I took special care on was to shoot with the crystal ball positioned in the shade so that the sun would not show up as a hotspots (distraction) in the crystal ball.

I just love marble shots. I am biased because I have done quite a few myself but yours cam out much better. Hope it does well.
