 This temple a replica of the the Byodo-in Temple located in Uji, Japan. It is located on the windward side of Oahu in the Valley of the Temples.

The original temple was built over 900 years ago. This replica, however, was constructed in 1968 to commemorate the first Japanese immigrants to Hawaii. Amazingly, the replica was built entirely without the use of nails.

Also, "Lost" fans out there may recognize this temple as it was used to film the scene for Jin & Sun's wedding.

I like the perspective you use for this one, I have a picture of that temple in my portfolio, but I went for a slight softer look on mine. Including the mountains and sky on this one, was a really nice touch.
