Needs a focal point or something of interest to anchor the eye. The shadows alone don't cut it. The light pole on the left is overexposed and the car to the right is underexposed. And both are clipped by the edge of the frame. That aside, your angle doesn't really show us anything but the ground and the sky. Maybe if we could (better) see storefronts or people, it would make for a more intriguing image. |

I feel there's a lack of solid subject here. Initially I'm drawn to the bright area to the left of the lamp post, then I find myself looking around the image eventually coming to rest with the car, which itself isn't really a clear subject either.
I think since the the subject is shadows, then to bring the lamp post into the shot a little more and deepen the shadows in PP would have helped. |
