Finally getting around to finishing comments for the Dec. Side Challenge:-)

I like the timeworn ragged look that you added around the edges of the photo for it gives it a feel of an aged photo - we are seeing something far back in the past. The lighting and details captured here of these cows grazing/relaxing is wonderful...love the details on how we can see the flow of hair on their hides. I also like how you waited for the two cows to look our way for it gives us the sense that we are there and they are looking directly at us.

I suspect they don't throw a lot of wild parties, so they probably make pretty good neighbors. Edit, and yes I know I already commented on this one. I just saw it again and had to look again.

I like their curly warm winter fur. And that they seem to be somewhat but not overly interested in your presence. At least not interested enough to get up and investigate.

They look nice and cosy snuggled down in the hay. The overlay sort of reminds the viewer that it is really cold out there.
