I was hoping this would in. WELL DONE! Congratulations! I hope your degree is a high-demand too and you get a great job when you graduate -- if not -- try to make it as a self-employed photographer. I bet you'd do great :)

I was gonna say ... maybe you could get a job at a certain architectural firm demonstrating the use of a right-angle ... ;-)
The pattern of the shadows and the use of the opening to highlight the subject are particularly effective. Congratulations on the ribbon! |

Thank you everyone for your comments and votes! My first third place! and techinically the best non-nude photo in this challenge. lol. I actually have not graduated yet, so this is my hope for a job when I do. As for OmanOtter's Comment, I grew up in Phoenix, so i was up there for the holidays. I am a Wildcat so yeah, Go CATS!!
As for the construction, yes its an amazing structure that i have photographed before.

Cool tunnel. But as for a job for the college graduate, I note that this was taken in Phoenix. So, presumably he went to ASU. If that's the case, who would hire him? Go CATS! A-S-WHO? Bear Down Arizona! ;-) Nice shot, though. |

very well thought out and shot. excellent b/w conversion, immense detail in the dark areas; well composed, though I had cropped off the dark area at bottom. |

Nice shot, comp and conversion. Neat space and love the way it's lit. This would have worked in the shadows challenge, too. |

Cool tunnel. At first glance I thought the person was representing an elf ('tis the season, after all), but then read the title. I like this as B/W, and the angles and shadows are very nice. The model's face seems just a tad too light but only a tiny bit. All in all, a very solid photo. |

Very interesting shapes and shadows. I think the tilt is too much though, and detracts from the power of the shot. |
