How fun! A great new take on the fire and ice idea. I wish the focus was more crisp but the color difference with the blue flame and the white of the ice is really fun along with the centered composition. |

Not quite as sharp as I would like, although I do enjoy the blue flames. |

Yes, but quite nicely done, except for the ice being just a tad out of focus. |

There is a lot of "fire and ice" in this challenge. I want you to know that this is by far the most original. good shot and unique take on the idea. 10 |

Fire and ice - true opposites. Yet, some important focus problems are evident. |

good idea, but it's not focused very well. |

Focus is a bit soft on this....like the colors and comp |

One of the better fire and ice ideas but the image appears soft. |

if your cammera cant foucus that close, back off until the image is in focus. |

I think this one should have been a do-over. It's completely out of focus. |

odd way of putting the point accross compared to others but focus is well off |

Predictable, yes......well taken, no. |

Really unique idea of the fire and ice theme, if you could get the focus tighter I think you would have a great picture... |

how about adjusting focus next time ? |

Predictable and blurry!!!
But a good attempt at making the predictable original! |

I find this to be a little too much like a snapshot. More focus and better lighting would really help this image. |

The only thing the title leaves out is "out of focus" 2 |

Nice idea, but it seems like maybe you didn't have time to focus fully before the ice melted! |

Different way to approach the fire and ice concept but the execution of the shot leaves me wanting. The overall composition is okay but the focus and set up is off. Also, where is the melted ice? I see no water around the burner. A 3 |

Yes, and one of the better ones. But what is the sense of heating ice cubes on a stove.
It's a nonsence picture. |

This looks out of focus and isn't all that interesting to me. |

Very predictable - too predictable, too many ice and fire shots.
Unfortunately some of the others are very much better executed than this. Better lighting, better framing, better focus and dof.

nice idea, but out of focus |

pic is a bit small and VERY VERY VERY VERY badly out of focus. I would like to be polite as possible to help you improve your photography, This photo is so out of focus that it should not have been entered. Neat concept, nice crop, decent exposure. Cannot give it more than a 1 - sorry. in focus worrthy of 5 or 6. |

I can't really tell what is in focus here. |

I aplaud your title- very true- but it's not really in focus. -4 |
