I'm so glad you talked about your setup. Reading about it, I gain a deep appreciation for how you got this image. I checked out the site you linked to. Unfortunately it seems as though the emphasis of that page was a bit different from what DPC, in general, would consider bokeh. A foreground object in front of your heart shapes would have met the challenge better, and probably eliminate a lot of the 1s and 2s, I'm guessing. Another thing to work on would be getting a soft, blurry quality to your "circles" of light.
If this is the first time you've used this technique I would encourage you to keep playing around with it because this image really shows a lot of promise and shows that you are capable of working hard to get a result, which can be very important. |

Well, i can't see a good bokeh there and no foreground and background well defined...But the colors are good! |
