 I'm not sure how this will go down. As the challenge says, not all stars are in the sky. These colts both sport stars (as white markings on horses' foreheads are termed). As well as that they will probably be stars in the showring, as they are highly bred from successful show pony stock.

Well I knew I was taking a risk. Not everyone knows that white forehead markings, regardless of shape, are called stars.

A little flat -- needs color or sharpeness or more dramatic lighting or something. Also, it doesn't meet the challenge.

I'm not a horse expert, but are you saying those are called stars on the foreheads? I like that they are looking at you and the fence adds to the picture.

i seem to be missing a connection here - are the stars the horses? - and if so, what kind of stars are they? - anyway - a beautiful image of the horses - since i am missing something - i will refrain from voting here...

A nice image which fulfills one interpretation of the brief. I think a 'letterbox' crop may have been more effective.

I love the composition, with both horses facing the camera at the same angle, and I think the whiskers are great!

Cute horses....where are the stars? Is that what the white markings on their heads are called? Or do you mean the horses in general?
