Greetings from the Critique Club...

I was not able to vote on this challenge, but if I had, I probably would have given you a 5.

My first thought is that the photograph is a little busy. I'm not sure where to focus. Between the bright blue light, the string of lights, the reflections on the side of the house, and the blue dots in the sky, there is a lot of information to take in. I'm not completely sold on the composition; it is close to dividing the frame in two, but not quite. While I appreciate that this photograph was probably difficult to get, the overall business is a little too much for my taste.

the star effect filter really helps carry the photo - but i am not crazy about the yellowish light on the roof line - it seems to detract a bit from the image
