 Measuring spoons and my Mom's depression glass sugar bowl. I have the creamer as well. They were give aways in boxes of detergent during the late 20's and early 30's. Applied a goodman layer after making it duotone in Silver Efex. I don't even mind the blown out highlights.

yes. This piece is full of atmosphere! It reminds me of my grandmother... herself; not just her house, but her mottled skin and her ability to be still, taking her measure of me.

I think the blown highlights actually do add to this nicely, particularly the one spoonful of light you have there. Cool that you have those bowls, too.

another emotive old fashioned and brilliant image judy .. !!
& who the heck cares about blown out highlights if they are an integral part of the scene .!!!. they only serve to make excellent contrast .. love the tones .. :)
