Challenge: Opposites (Basic Editing I)
Camera: Olympus E-10
Location: In my office in Escondido, CA
Date: May 6, 2004
Aperture: f11.0
ISO: 80
Shutter: 1/250
Galleries: Abstract, Architecture
Date Uploaded: May 6, 2004

While I was in my office waiting for a customer to come pick up their car at the end of the day, I noticed the strong shadows & reflections from my front door.
Thanks for the Challenge, as it made me open my eyes to something I see almost every day, yet never paid any attention to.

I liked this both in the thumbnail and full verison. the differences in color, shadow and texture are really wonderful, you have a great eye for creating something out of the mundane.

Clever take on the theme! Mirror images = opposites! Bonus points for that.

I like the shapes in this - the shadows are great! The blue frame in the center adds interest as well.

IMO, the shot would be a lot better it you cut of the left side up io and including the light switch, then it would be a beautiful clean abstract (the reflection of the swith and the litle tree on the right are perfect as they are)
