 I looked at submissions for Personification II for inspiration for this. The shooting went well and I think I am impoving. I hope to get my best score yet.

**Critique Club Comment**

Aaahhh. Very effective, I must say! In fact if I might venture a guess as to the thoughts behind the voting, you may have gotten so many 1s due to the shock factor. And the shock factor is not a bad thing as you really did accomplish what you were going for. What I think would improve the photo is better lighting (the shadow in front distracts somewhat), eliminating the distractions in the background (the right and the upper left), and composition (showing your entire subject can be important). These three elements are very important in photos - consistant lighting, clean backgrounds, and non-cut-off subjects are sort of "rules" of photography, by which I mean that if they're done "wrongly", it can be good as long as there is a reason for it (and I don't see a reason in your photo). Again, great job on the blood... it really does look real... you should definitely think about trying a horror challenge if one comes along!

No, it is a regular orange w/ some fake blood.

Somehow I miss the personification part. Or is it that the orange is bleeding red as men do?
