Reading your comments and seeing that you're not using studio lights I would have to say that you are doing a fantastic job with photographing these fruit. I look forward to your studio light shots. |

I think the shallow DOF and framing choice might be what throws this one a bit off for me... I really like the colour of the pear and the obvious juices on it though. |

You know, this whole series of yours is making me think I need to start eating better. That's a good thing! Looking forward to seeing what you can do with the lights - and I'm terribly envious, too. |

This actually does remind me of Christmas, because for years a business friend of my husband's would send us a box of pears. I assume they were expensive, but they had thicker skin than the pears I usually eat and I never liked them. We kept offering them to anyone and everyone and it became a huge family joke so we'd start laughing as soon as the box showed up each year ;-) |
