 this picture was taken by me today (may 5th) in the local park. The opposites are defined by the calm water on the left and violent quick flow on the right. The only thing that divides the two is a stone. Soft filter was used and cotrast enhancement. Hope you like this photo.

I think I've been there!!! Very interesting colors and effects. Cant stop looking at it Well placed sunlight falling on the background water makes the shot. Great job

The violent side is only a little violent to me. Tranquil scene overall.

Wish I were there - a very pleasant scene. The blue of the downstream water is bit unnatural - but works very well for you. Composition fits perfectly.

The violent or "uncalm" water does not come through the photo

This looks a bit overexposed to me, but I love the angle and composition. There's so much detail to take in.

The extreme blue on the right is very distracting. It actually made my eyes squint a little as soon as I opened the pic. Good idea though! 5

ok.. but where is the opposite. when i think of rough water i think of the niagra falls or rapids.

Seems like the color saturation and impact of this nice idea could be improved, but a great start. The idea is the toughest part!
