Post: Thanks everybody for all your comments. This was one of those shots that I didnt have enough time to prepare for. On the way home from work I saw this, but still had to run home and grab the camera. By the time I got back, the sunset was almost over (not much sun in Belgium this time of year, this was the only day there was any kind of sunset).

The blown out highlights are not from post-processing, but actually in the original (Either had that, or it was too dark in some areas). I am surprised nobody mentioned that it is not centered. Maybe there will be another challenge that I can re-do this.

Really nice. Maybe cropped a little tight? I think this could be a ribbon contender - very DPC friendly :)

Nice, but the sky strikes me as overprocessed -- I'm looking at the overexposed areas in the lower third of the frame.

I like the photo, the contrasting colors are great as well as the sense of depth that I get. The edges of the clouds around the light blue is strange: 9

Good find and crop. I'm just wondering if you're trying to get too much in one shot. The sunset overpowers the star making much of it very dark. Maybe a fill flash would show the star better.

I went to give this an 8 but the blown highlights in the sky detract from what would have been a really great image. 6.

What a nice piece of art, good centered composition. Not sure of your processing, bright clouds look posterized.
