 I took the shot below that I just put into the B&W side challenge and did some quickie fractalius on it. Just a hint of fractalius, then a bit of perfectum to smooth it out, contrast sharpening, output sharpening, save for web (all after the steps posted in photo below).

VERY nice effect! The petals & leaves have a full richness, or a rich fullness.....can't make up my mind! LOL!!!

Man. I like the hairs on the stem. Something so unexpected that you usually don't see. Very delicate. Pretty :)
