 I know this will bomb again - never mind - experimenting will do that, especially with a last minute scurried entry. Hard challenge to shoot for - should have been a diptych.

Interesting use of grain. I'm not sure what it adds though -- almost looks like you were trying to cover something up with it. Otherwise, I like this -- especially the pastel tones.

If this were in crisp focus and without noise it would be a great macro shot. But even then I don't get how it relates to the topic?

I don't imagine too many people would agree, but I really like the how the grittyness of the noise works against the soft, smooth tones of this shot (especially the background). I think it only has a weak connection to the challenge theme, however.

You could have a great macro shot there! But this is too grainy and i don't see much Before and After on your photo.

That's a great capture and a lovely background but I think the graininess detracts from the visual impact.
