The glass is sitting on a hole in black poster board on my kitchen table. The table is separated a small amount where you put the leaf in and there is a light under the table shining in through the bottom of the glass. Hence the dramatic lighting filling the glass. However, a fill flash was then used to light the glass (and unwanted can) from the front. It is set at 1/64th power and is located at camera right.

Wow! You got quite a bit of action going on in that mug. Looks great, but I'm still a bit baffled with the set up (definitely my mind not working, lol).

lol at first I thought it was going to be beer. I actually don't like the can in it. But the glow of the glass is beautiful!

I like the sharp luminous lines around the rim, handle and the light coming through the stream of soda that teases the eye away from the center point of light. Nicely done.

This would have been great for the backlighting challenge. Fill flash is used to lighten areas that would be in shadow, not create a new light, I think. (not voting yet)
