 A small pen had three adults and two little ones - they were there for my town's Christmas market. One of the females - the largest (not this one) was quite unhappy with another of the smaller ones and kept bumping her. This one was just trying to stay out of the way.

lot's of Mom's use that particular stare for their kids when they're annoying - actually a few Dad's do as well :- )

I wasn't planning on commenting more till the morning, but ... it's a sheep! And a really cute one at that. And clean (they usually have bits of hay stuck in their wool, at least). Gorgeous blues in the background and nice detail in the wool. She doesn't look stupid, and if she was smart enough to avoid the fracas maybe she's a smarter-than-average sort of sheep :-)

Lovely portrait of an animal that isn't ewesually (sorry) given such attention. This reminds me heaps of a coloured pencil picture I have seen (in a book of serious coloured pencil work) almost down to what is behind her, though I think it was barbed wire in the drawing.

I like sheep, although they're quite stupid animals when you meet them in the field. Like the light here, and the HE label on this SHE.
