I think if you moved your lightsource down, you could create some catchlights in their eyes and avoid that "shadowed eyepocket" look. By the angle of the shadows it looks like it was too high. |

Cute idea, but the lightning seems too harsh to me. The boy looks like he's got a black eye, its so dark there. |
