A last mimute effort that probalbly should not have been submitted (based on the scores).
However several folks have asked about the light source. The light was provided by a 60 watt desk lamp. For the shot submitted, the lamp was being held in my left hand next to the tripod, slightly below the deer figures.

Cute scene. The deer and the torquise tree are really quite cool looking. Focus/DOF seems very good. The light flare on the lady deer is a tad sharp. Did you try this with a fuller undergrowth? (I think I have a tendancy to over do it, so this might not be a very good idea) Score increase - from 7 to 8. Swash |

Is that the Tree of Life. ;-) I am voting a 5 because it is dark on one side and light on the other I would have liked it evened out more and the light is very bright on the animals. Vote 5 Sonifo |
