Thank you for your comments. They are a great help for me. This has been my 1st photo in DPchallenge. I hope that in the next ones I´ll do it better. Thank you very much anyway.

It's a pity this is out of focus, because it's a good idea.

Nothing looks clear.

Funny but you could have gotten a beter photo

I'm sure you've heard it a few times... but focus is a little off. I admire your originality.

Really interesting idea, wish the focus was tighter though! Good job overall...

amusing, but out of focus.

clever use of subject material. really no excuse for being so out of focus though.

Not bad, but I think you could come up with something more creative.
05/15/2004 08:49:27 AM
This could be helped if it was focused a little better. It would also be fun if the people were in their "natural habitat" not in this particular background.

Poorly focused. Besides this is staged why would the rich one be sitting outside? Maybe walking by.

The focus seems a little soft throughout. Maybe some post processing sharpening would help.

Out of focus, very distracting background, non-compelling subjects.

Creative, but out of focus which is very important in a photography challenge.

In a still life set up you have to be able to get the subejct in focus! If this shot is in focus then something happened in post processing because it isn't now. No matter how good an idea you have people can't judge it if the presentation is flawed. Be fair to your ideas, shoot and review untill you get what you want.

a bit out of focus. 6.

If it was in focus, it would be good. You could also crop closer on the bottom.

While your concept for opposites is a very good one, it is in the cleverness of the realization of that concept that a wonderful picture could have been conceived. It's far too simplistic to represent this in lego characters. Few could identify or even associate real life to these miniatures. I think had you shot a BMW or limousine downtown where indigints were loitering, that would have had a lot of impact.

focus? needs a better backdrop.
05/12/2004 09:01:41 PM
if it was a little more in focus it would be better... good idea though. why is the begger so happy? =) - 7

Although not a very technically accurate shot, you are brave! I will just say that this just isn't my taste.

We are liking the cutesy idea a lot, the image could have been a lot sharper though.

Playmobil! I love playmobil! The models you selected are quite interesting and appropriate! The shot looks a bit overexposed and soft. The softness could come from how you resized the image . You also might think of using a bit more side lighting on the image so the colors are brigher. Thanks for reminding me of a cherished childhood memory!

seems to be a little out of focus.

Not a bad idea but it's out of focus and lacks any real punch or appeal. Maybe more contrast, different lighting, different background? A 2
