My son raises worms so he would love this shot. Here he is holding a few:

Worms rock. I really like the gritty/dirtiness of the hand holding the worm. They obviously dug it up :) |

Simple and straightforward, yet very impactful. Got a nice nostalgia to it. |

I hate to admit this...I like earthworms, but I refuse to touch them...they freak me out. I think it comes from the times when I was really little and a friends big brother threw a great big juicy worm right in my face...and it stuck there, held in place by my nose...and he laughed...and I was absolutely horrified...apparently scarred for life. |

This makes me laugh... kids and their worms! (but just so you know, according to my oldest, I'm the BEST worm catcher ever!!!) I love the timeless feel you captured, the processing is beautifully added, again. |

Absolutely delicious conversion to B&W - excellent tones/contrast. And a darn cool shot, too. |

Eww! LOL! Wonderful BW - great perspective. As a kid I was heavily invested in saving worms from birds. A fruitless endeavor, as you can imagine. |

such a recognizable scene for anyone who ever had a childhood
i remember it was even more fun if the girls could be scared presenting it
good catch with that intense feel of earth all over the picture |

This is so classic. Makes me think of the depression and maybe the recipient is so hungry and broke that they are considering it as a meal. Excellent DOF. WOW I really like this. |

this is awesome ... there's nothing like a child with dirty hands and a worm ... takes me back to my own childhood! the processing gives it an 'old time' feel which lends itself to the nostalgic feeling that I get from looking at this ... very well done |

Is that a child holding the worm? Most grownups are too squeamish, and too fastidious to dig in the dirt barehanded, besides. Kids have more fun ;-) |
