 I joined the site today and this is my first entry-not even sure if I'm doing it right. I submitted the "after" picture above and here I'll attempt to post the before and after pictures. :)

I found this little honey bee on a wildflower near a creek in NW Indiana.

Nice idea and colour selection, but not sure the before and after message is strong enough.

I'm not sure, but is a color selection like this allowed in Basic Editing?

The flower is pretty, but it and the bee are OOF. And how does this meet the challenge?

The shot is too busy, even with the edits you have done to desaturate the background, it is still very distracting.

The image doesn't feel very sharp. Getting in a little closer to the flower so it fills the frame I think would help the subject stand out. The bee adds to the photo.
