 I suspect there'll be an awful lot of dandelions in this challenge. I had another idea altogether, and shot almost 200 images of it, some turned out great. Then I took a walk and saw this and was really torn between ambition and simplicity. In the end, simplicity won out. I hope.

Update 12/16

Oh WOW! A new PB! This was such a nail-biting challenge for me, with my highest scores ever, and an incredibly (and surprisingly) controversial border. Thank you all so much for looking and voting.

Very little cropping, removed color, sharpened a little, and added a border.

What I would point out is to me this more contrast and maybe a bit more light on the right side to bring out the dead leaves some more.
It's a good photo, top 25, some good comments and more important a favorite!

Its sad, when I first looked at this, I was like, man someone did my original idea, and I really liked it, but the border totally kills it.
