nice macro shot ... a bit more DOF would help

I'd like to see the base object be in focus for this to work entirely for me.

Nice bokeh.

The out of focus front edge is distracting and pulls the eye to it rather than the focused part of the image.

Interesting composition and nice capture of the color and texture of rust. The background seems artificial for this kind of a subject.

A very interesting point of view and relatively interesting subject matter. The composition of this picture is disturbing in a good sense. If the rating were on composition alone, I would give this a 10. I long for better focus throughout and more light from the side we are seeing. A 6 overall.

The angle is great, it makes the shot very interesting. If somehow you were able to make the object and rust more vivid this would be perfect. =9

try having the whole peice in focus ...7

Would like this better if the whole thing were in sharp focus. The blurring of the impeller suggests motion - but the title and the rust imply something that's lifeless and immobile.

its a very nice shot, but it lacks a little focus.... its not easy to catch the whole thing in focus tho. -8

Neat shot. Like the focus and the light is dandy.
