An outake from the straight challenge. considering that the image I submitted doesn't really fit the challenge description (I did not read the description), I would habe been better off with this one!

This is a shot of spaghettis, converted to B&W with a duotone treatment.

I'd think this was a negative, if I didn't know what the subject was. Nice abstract and luminous quality.

The blue adds a fun dimension to the photo. Looks like strands of something just about to spiral out of control.

I like the spiral effect and how we see curves created by straight lines!

Love the tones to this and echo the fact I thought it was a flower ;)

Love how all the lines go to the light. Interesting and really cool, love the duotone.

Are you sure it's not linguine? It looks a little flat for spaghetti, LOL! Love the twirl to it!

Nice shot. I like the duotone treatment which hides the spaghetti factor. I, like you, thought of submitting my shot (see my Day 1 submission in the Dec Whatever SC, but thought it didn't fit the challenge description.

Very good macro! I would have thought it was some type of fiber optic cable or the string off of a lawn edger! Good job

Just spaghetti? It makes a great abstract with that light and DOF. Nice job (and I thought it was a flower from the thumb, too!).
