nice angle. I like the symetrical take you have on this. I dont think I have seen other train track in this challenge take this approach. However what I do find is you almost have two pictures here. if you were to crop it in half horizonttally. The lower shot would be very raw and industrial looking, while the top half is more like a classic landscape shot of tracks. |

The rail is overexposed. Normally not a big problem with this type of shot, except that there are areas which are not, due to the wear and marks ont he rails, and I am not sure what further up. The fact that this means the rail does not have great striaght lines either side does affect the effect you are trying to acheive here. The rest of the photo is good. I would have had a little more angle, and therefore not had any background area at all. |
