Very nice composite.
10/29/2002 12:21:00 AM
Sorry, you should have "won," not "one." I must've been thinking that you should have been number one!!!
10/29/2002 12:18:00 AM
You should have one, and you would have if it wasn't for all the low votes by people who didn't give it a second look and try to figure out what was going on.. A damn shame ...better luck next time.
10/28/2002 02:49:00 PM
i was completely wrong about how you shot this - i woulda bet money that you spent $700 for a prime room at the Bellagio in Vegas, and set up a reflection of your model while shooting the fountains and the Paris hotel across the street -- i guess your way was lots cheaper (unless you include your trip to Paris) -- spiderman
10/28/2002 07:55:00 AM
I was hoping your pic was going to be in the top 3, but five isn't too shabby either. Congrats!
10/28/2002 03:09:00 AM
I was expecting more from your pic.... but after seen your 12 1's ... you deserve more!
Congratulations!!

Good job, you should've won. Now i will have to do the same with a violin on a woman's back :-) Your photo is great.
10/27/2002 07:38:00 PM
You should've won this challenge. Really. Just look at how many tried to disqualify you for not getting your picture. Congratulations, nonetheless.

One more pic, which makes me say 'wow'! I'm curious, how you did this! Think, I've got an idea... but you got it! Well done! Wish you luck... 10 - KAOS.
10/27/2002 11:21:00 AM
Amazing photo, the best this week by far in my opinion! 10 - Konador
10/26/2002 08:46:00 PM
Awesome! Very original!!! Looks like you used a projector...? 10/10!!!
10/26/2002 08:15:00 PM
Very nice! I like the way the lines of the tower correspond with the lines of her body. Very interesting concept. How did you accomplish this?
10/26/2002 05:22:00 PM
this is awesome!! i dont know how to vote based on using a single light source, because i see many, but i love this and i need to know how it was done. :-) 8--shutterfly
10/26/2002 04:30:00 PM
I would have liked it better if there weren't so many light sources. Too cluttered on the lower strip.
10/25/2002 06:43:00 PM
OK this is a good one. Im intrested to know how you did this. Good luck
10/24/2002 02:56:00 PM

Very well done. It is an old idea but one that is well worth using.
10/24/2002 09:58:00 AM
Very imaginative. I'll be looking forward to seeing how you did this one. 9 waltoml.
10/24/2002 09:02:00 AM
Beautiful!. Maybe a little less exposure time could sharp the shapes.
10/24/2002 06:31:00 AM
has this been projected on her back??? not sure if I like you using another photographers pictureto enhance your picture.. bit of a gray area there??
10/24/2002 05:57:00 AM
Incredible shot! Awesome use of your single light source. Love everything about this...except...i wish her elbows were bent a little more to smooth the skin. WOW 10 despite the elbows :P Lisa

very cool!!
10/23/2002 10:12:00 AM
This is a stunning picture. Lighting and composition are great. What I like the most is the 3D effect that you got with the projected image. This should be a winning picture, if not for the people who think you're breaking the rules of the challenge. Good luck!
10/23/2002 10:08:00 AM
i know a girl who studied photo at the corcoran, did a project using this technique. great choice of photo to project, perfect exposure on the ladies' body. you get a big fat ten.
10/22/2002 10:42:00 PM
Innovative -- slide projector :) 10 paganini
10/22/2002 08:20:00 PM
Might not have broken any editing rule, but broke my brain figuring out how it was done. 9
10/22/2002 08:08:00 PM
Excellent!! Was this done through a window? If so, magnificent view. 10 all the way.
10/22/2002 02:05:00 PM
single artificial lightsource????
10/22/2002 08:31:00 AM
Projector?
10/22/2002 07:02:00 AM
let me guess - a slide projector? I love it! hope it wins, so simple and so effective
10/22/2002 06:58:00 AM
a slide of france projected on a ladies back maybe? very good idea and creative 10
10/22/2002 06:46:00 AM
your strength here was in the tower extending up the model's spine. I find the rest of the foreground distracts from the strength of the composition. good work!
10/21/2002 09:27:00 PM
a nice photograph on a nice photograph, very well done ten
10/21/2002 07:41:00 PM
How did you do this?
10/21/2002 07:18:00 PM
I REALLY want to see a "how'd you do that on this" !! I love it. Great job. lhall
10/21/2002 05:04:00 PM
Not sure how you accomplished this, but I think the concept is great. Your execution is beautiful. Great job (9)
10/21/2002 03:44:00 PM
nice image, not sure what to think of the one light source rule here.
10/21/2002 03:40:00 PM
very interesting idea. did u try it with her arms in the air. the albows bother me a bit. never the less a great one. : )
10/21/2002 02:41:00 PM
very original, I like it.
10/21/2002 12:12:00 PM
Slide projector image?? Very unique idea. Turned out great WOW
10/21/2002 10:59:00 AM
Very intriguing! Can`t wait to know how you did it. 8
10/21/2002 10:16:00 AM
what can I say except WOW!
10/21/2002 06:30:00 AM
I LOVE it.
10/21/2002 05:10:00 AM
Interesting effect with multiple exposures, but obviously includes numerous light sources.
10/21/2002 03:56:00 AM
Very nice shot, however the challenge says "'Use a SINGLE, artificial light source to dramatically light the subject of your choice".
10/21/2002 01:23:00 AM
Incredible idea and execution. Photo of the year!
12/03/2002 07:00:00 PM
Wooh, okay at first I was totaly confused, I didn't even realize the depth of the picture, I rated it low... then I was reviewing my ratings, and WOOH! I figured it out! I thought about it three different ways, and the shadows confused me the first two ways, which lead me to discover that this was a projection of a slide (or somethign similar) onto someone's back!! Nicely done, but I don't think many people are going to catch on :- 10/21/2002 2:30:00 AM
10/20/2002 10:12:00 PM
this is a really great shot.
10/20/2002 09:58:00 PM
Wow... this image is stunning. Technically, it appears flawless. Creativity - not matched by any others that I've seen... Great shot!!! - 10 - JB
10/20/2002 09:51:00 PM
so.... how did you do this? through glass or a model of the eifel?
10/20/2002 08:59:00 PM
This is a really neat photo... I like the concept quite a bit... I think it's a little outside the concept of a 'single light source' maybe... looks like maybe a slide projected image? good score here for creativity :) - setzler
