Nice to see the snail actually pacing. Glad you did not have to set the shutter speed so high to catch the action as to lose the lovely depth of field in this chot. You also caught the snail at a very nice location on the head of the pick, and you got the exposure exactly right.

Could use a little more sharpness and contrast, but I like that you have included the snail, instead of just a shot of the rusty pickaxe.

Nice idea, nice angular composition though would be better if the snail were in the ROT sweet spot, and if this were in focus
