Challenge victim.

This is a very nice abstract! I love the texture and detail of the rusty metal. Why voters (in the majority) refuse to see the value of such an image is beyond me. I received similar comments about not seeing "what it is" in "Rusted" and continue to receive them in the current "Metal" challenge. I wish I could tell them all to relax and just enjoy what they're presented with...it doesn't have to "mean" anything!

I like this for a lot of reasons that are just on the tip of my tongue. Maybe it's the mystery. Maybe it's not quite knowing what it is. Rust is subtle, almost more implied than explicit. I like that. Very well done. - 9

It's a nice piece of rust, and the technique is very good. The composition is a bit static, though. The main horizontal, and the main vertical are right in the center. Moving the center of that cross off toward a corner would make the whole thing more acitve and interesting.
