I'm usually not a fan of overlays, however this one works for me. Its subtle and doesnt distract from the image.

Wow! Love the overlay for it adds a visual texture one can feel: a bit rough and worn. The reddish brown tones are warm colors so it adds a warm 'chestnut roasting by the fire' feel. I like the play of light and shadows in this one too for it adds visual interest and holds the eye's attention.

I love the artistic feel to this, almost like the background is painted. Lovely processing, and it is an inspiration to have a go at some overlays, (which is still on my gunna list).
