what focal lenght was this taken at? i'm asking because i also like taking portraits at wider angles, gives a more intimate feel to the model and whole scene somehow.
reminded me of this one of mine a bit: |
Thanks, I'm pretty sure it was at 17mm and I was 3-5feet from the model. Yah I can definitely see some similarities to the one you linked =)

Nice high-fashion posing by your model. Lovely catchlights. Beautiful B&W conversion. Nothing too blown or lost in darkness. Gorgeous lighting. |

wonderful studio work - outstanding control of lighting on the face and throughout the darks of the shirt and jeans as well |

Very nicely lit. I have to say as soon as I caught the sort of strange look to her right arm (probably due to the exact pose/angle) my eye can't get away from it. The pose looks just a bit "hunched" to me, but I've seen that pose before and perhaps that's what you were going for. Overall nicely done. 7 |

An unusual definition of human form that seems so familiar. |

Superbly done - a great pose & demeanor that was masterfully lit & processed! Those are interesting catch-lights, I'm curious to know how you lit this... -- 10 -- |

I recognize this beauty. As usual I love what you did with her eyes. The vignette is beautiful. I would have liked to see a tad more detail in her sweater. All and all, beautiful simple fashion portrait. |
