 Post Challenge: Wow, thanks everyone. This was a fun score to watch during the week. Some asked how this was done, it was actually fairly simple. We were outside, and it was windy, hence the white specks (snow) and the blown hair. I used two strobe lights one pointed at the camera directly in front of the model ( the orb of light) and another strobe with a white umbrella about 7 or 8 feet in front of the model and pointed at her. The strobe pointed at the camera did pretty well at obliterating the stand and chord hanging down, but I did have to clone out some. I also cloned out a small lens flare on her shoulder. This was shot in the incandescent mode to give the shot a blue overtone. The model is my sister.

pretty clever, with your simple setup... I think the snow helped you tremendously.

and you are 17! you have some great skills already--unlimited potential. Hopefully you are looking into a photography career.
