Very cute image, with clear appeal, but from a technical standpoint the photo confuses me; the depth of field appears to be sharp from the nearest point through to the furthest visible part of the mother, which is a good choice, BUT there are several 'smudged' areas. At first I put it down to overly-heavy use of noise reduction software, but the fact that there is such good texture elsewhere in the photo would suggest that is unlikely. Whatever the reason, I do find the textureless areas off-putting.

After looking at it closer. Try reducing the yellow saturation a little , I think you will get even more details out (no vote)

Auuuuuuuuuugh, I LOVE this photo! Well. . .I have to admit to being a little disappointed with what looks like too much neat-image on the faces and the baby's belly and arms, but the pose compensates significantly for that. What a great piece of art conveying the intimacy between a mom and her baby.
