I just ran into this photo --> , by Ja-9, and had to dig back thru some files from a previous trip to the same location.
I visited this park on the bluff more times than I can remember as a kid. My grandmother lived in the highrise across the street...we'd go over there and down to the beach or river nearly every time we visited (and that was a LOT, especially in the summer).
On this trip I took my family back to Michigan to visit relatives that still live there. I'm glad we went as it was the last time I saw my mother alive. She passed away two months later.
