 I was digging around for an object of interest for this challenge and I just so happen to unearth this old camera my grandfather gave to me. I thought it looked neat so I blew off some of the dust and positioned it on a black drop cloth and lit it with a simple desk lamp. Once I looked at the shot I liked the look of it, the lighting seem to capture the oldness of the object. The light is a bit hot in some places, but I thought it added to the "oldlook" of the photo.

I like this shot. The sepia, of course, adds to the antiquity of the object. Very nice.

you may have tried for the lighting effect that resulted, but not enough midtones on the camera and the brightnes it a little too bright for me.

My camera collection has several like this but they're in much better condition and I've taken better pictures of them. But I wasn't limited by the light source. Because of the challenge I'll add a couple extra points.

I think the plush upholstery is distracting to the wonderfull lit and grainy camera. how about a 9?
