 Quick shot at the "Family Dinner" at Ryans Restaurant in Poplar Bluff, Missouri...this is all I had as I wasn't going to gain weight...after losing 20 lbs..the last couple of months.

Post Challenge: Thought it got a good score...being that I thought the shot wasn't perfect by a long shot..the Turkey (little that I had) was back by the fork...I only tried a few shots and I took the one that looked the best..and most appetizing..The DOF was a little off..but I went with what I had...I am glad alot of voters agreed with me...BTW I enjoyed my meal..and I didn't over eat...thanks to all.

This is a great photo. Pro in every way. My only issue is that the main course isn't in there. The corn and mashies look great but where's the Turkey? You have talent with food. Go with it BUT keep in mind the main course is the Rock Star. Cheers!

Could use slightly deeper DOF, otherwise nicely done. Good lighting and it looks appetizing.

Nice use of DOF and overall composition. The lighting in this picture gives the food a light and airy feel and the sprinkle of pepper adds the perfect amount of contrast in the corn and potatoes.

I think a nice big slab of bird/ham in the middle between corn and mashed potato would've helped convey the idea of Thanksgiving more strongly. 7

The frame you added really makes this picture look like it belongs in a magazine. Nice shot. My only 10 of the challenge and my guess for the Blue Ribbon.

Noooooo... You can't let them mix! :P Looks tasty, but the fork looks a bit wierd sticking out like that.

This shot has some real potential. I's one of the better ones I've seen so far, but I think it could use a little boost in exposure. Maybe a little saturation as well to make that carrot and corn pop. 8

That is an unusually tight crop and narrow dof for a food shot, but this one really works well. Great lighting, too.
