| Needs a bit more distance to the BG to help blur out the smudges which distract from the wood texture. Nice shadows. |

| Sorry ... I'm not getting this at all. Maybe it's so far outside my experience I can't even figure out what you've photographed. My bad. It is a nice abstract ... a little heavy on the grain ... or maybe more grain would help. I'm discombulated. |

| The shadow reminds me of a praying mantis. If it weren't in the title, I would have no idea that this is a drumstick. |

| Well, got the concept there but, the photo itself lacks some "ooomph". I wouldn't know it was a drumstick without the title. Not sure that there's anything that really could have improved this shot. I think that a different angle of shooting it might have helped? |
