Compared to the warm colours in the background, the foreground lighting is harsh. |

Ah, very romantic scene. Burning the (relatively unimportant)patio pavers and left side of the shot would have kept my eyes on the model and flowers better. |

Well composed. Reds in the sky are nice. Triangular composition gives a sense of tension as he waits. |

Ah, but he should keep the ring concealed until she gets there!! Nice setting for a proposal. Foreground light is just a tad harsh but am not entirely sure how to light it "softer" - you may want to ask in the forums after the challenge if you're interested. |

Bummer for the flash here... but beautiful sunset or sunrise. |

Nice sentiment, nice sky - but the combination of the harsh flash and the white socks is just too distracting. |

I really enjoy your set-up. It looks like you took some time to plan this out. The background is fitting, and the props add a lot. If you had diffused the flash a bit, I think it would've been even better. My husband made a cheap flash diffuser using a small piece of plastic milk carton. Sounds crazy but it works great! You can find out how online. :) Commenting only. |

I see what you're going for, but it took me about three minutes, literally, to notice the ring. My attention is just pulled to the upper left. An off camera flash to the left of the camera and a bit above, as well as a tighter crop, might have helped a bit. |
